Illegal far east copies of our dummies are being sold
It has been brought to our attention that copies of our award winning design Pheasant and Partridge dummies are being illegally manufactured in the far east and offered for sale in some European gun dog web sites. Vigorous and robust immediate action by ourselves has resulted in the immediate withdrawal from sale of the counterfeit dummies from a well known European gun dog retailer.
We were able to enforce this action due to the fact that we applied for and were granted full European Union Design Protection. In effect this means that any one in the European Union copying, selling or advertising a product which is a copy of our protected design is in contravention of the design protection Laws afforded by our registered design certificate.
We are investigating further the source of this illegal activity in an attempt to ensure that the pirated copies do not find their way onto the market. We would like to request that if any of our customers come across these unauthorised copies that they take any details available and forward to us for further investigation.
We take this opportunity to reassure our customers that our own products have been subject to rigorous field testing not only by ourselves but a number of top gun dog training schools and professional trainers.
